\nDirector General Excise Taxation and Narcotics Control Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Aslam Wazir said that instructions have been issued to the officers of Excise Taxation and Narcotics Control Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to ensure revenue recovery of the province and achieve revenue targets.\u00a0 He said that timely payment of taxes was our national duty and all taxpayers and institutions should play their key role in the development of the province by paying their due tax arrears on time.
\nIn this regard, on the direction of Director General Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Burki Excise and Taxation Officer (ETO-II) Property Tax Peshawar and Ijaz Khan Excise and Taxation Officer (ETO-VI) Property Tax Peshawar\u00a0 held an important meeting with Director General Administration Service PESCO (Board of Governors) regarding property tax dues.
\nOn this occasion, the Excise Department issued a final ultimatum to PESCO to pay billions of rupees in property tax dues.\u00a0 It is pertinent to mention here that\u00a0 PESCO is in arrears of above than\u00a0 Rs.\u00a0 1.14 billions in\u00a0 respect of property tax.
