MIANWALI: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Umar Ata Bandial said Sunday Supreme Court\u2019s foremost responsibility was to provide justice countrywide, adding that regardless of the stature, a court is always bound to serve the justice. Talking to a social gathering on Sunday, the Chief Justice of country\u2019s apex court said courts must focus on concluding the pending cases. He said his mission was to serve downtrodden and oppressed segments of society. Chief Justice of Pakistan said judges\u2019 verdicts are supposed to raise the dignity of courts. He said judgments should be criticized instead of judges. Justice Umar Ata Bandial said vacant posts in lower courts will be fulfilled soon to end pending cases.
