Former opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif has said April 3, 2022 will be remembered as black day in the history of Pakistan as Imran Niazi imposed civilian martial law.<\/p>\n
\u201c On November 03, 2007 General Musharraf committed this unconstitutional act. He established a fascist government. Imran Khan and his coteries trampled the constitution. Speaker allowed no confidence motion on March 24.\u201d, he said this while addressing a press conference here Monday. <\/p>\n
He went on to say assembly has a system. It has a legal branch and every thing is done with its permission. IF something was coming under article 5 then why no confidence motion was allowed on March 24. Later possibility of any change stood ruled out. The motion was to be presented in National Assembly (NA) on April 03 at every cost for voting. <\/p>\n

Deputy speaker read out a written paper and removed the motion from voting, he stated. <\/p>\n
He claimed Imran Khan and his companions violated the constitution. If there was some objection and any cable had come from US then why the permission was given to present the motion from March 07 to March 24. Why the objection was not raised before treasury and opposition benches. Imran Khan and his coterie could not face the motion therefore, they defied the constitution. The nation is in vacuum since yesterday. <\/p>\n
He held the court remarked no ultra constitutional step should be taken while the president and deputy speaker had taken ultra constitutional step. <\/p>\n
He indicated Attorney General (AG) said in the Supreme Court (SC) too that voting will be conducted and it will take place at every cost. <\/p>\n
\u201cI want to tell you about the letter which is being mentioned that Asad Khan Pakistan former ambassador to US made full preparation. He invited US Assistant Secretary of State in a farewell reception. US Assistant Secretary of State Donal Lu attended his reception on March 16 while the date of reception in the letter is mentioned March 07. Asad Khan sent tweet on March 16 and thanked assistant secretary of state. <\/p>\n
If threat was given on March 07 and diplomatic cable of the ambassador came then why the article five was not talked of from March 07 to March 24. <\/p>\n
We all 197 people who cast vote in favor of no confidence motion became traitors how. Why did they not move to the court earlier. <\/p>\n
He underlined Imran Khan defied the constitution. There are very serious matters and we will observe protest all over the country. <\/p>\n
We never talked of traitor but he called us traitor, he underscored. <\/p>\n
Bilalwal Bhutto said the constitution was defied in the NA. No confidence is constitutional and democratic process. PM does not know what has happened. We all are democratic people. We removed the black clauses of the dictators from the constitution. <\/p>\n
Defending the constitution of Pakistan is obligation of every Pakistani, he remarked. <\/p>\n
