Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday sought explanation from the Military\u2019s spokesperson over the declaration of National Security Committee\u2019s (NSC) recently held meeting.
\n\u201cEx-PM Imran Khan is using \u2018foreign conspiracy\u2019 to justify his coup. Will DG ISPR clarify did NSC meeting declare the 197 members of NA traitors and part of foreign plot?\u201d Bilawal wrote in his tweet on Monday, referring to the official communiqu\u00e9 issued after the meeting of NSC held recently to discuss the alleged foreign letter, provoking \u2018regime change\u2019 in Pakistan, as claimed by the PM Imran Khan and his party.
\n\u201cCan foreign office or defense ministry produce any official correspondence between 7-27th on foreign sazish (conspiracy),\u201d added Bilawal in his twitter statement.
\nIn a subsequent tweet, the PPP chairman expressed hope that country\u2019s intelligence agencies are capable of \u2018exposing such foreign plots\u2019. \u201cSurely a plot of this scale would have been uncovered by our own intelligence agencies and other institutions not just an ambassador cable?\u201d Bilawal further asked.
\n\u201cImran\u2019s ego is not more important than Pakistan,\u201d he concluded.
\nOn March 31, The National Security Committee (NSC), in its 37th meeting had decided Pakistan would issue a strong demarche to the country whose official communicated the “threat”.
\n“The Committee decided that Pakistan will issue a strong demarche to the country in question both in Islamabad and in the country\u2019s capital through proper channel in keeping with diplomatic norms,” a statement issued from the PM Office had said.
