\nPakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday has demanded of the Chief of the $and ISI Director General to make public \u201cany evidence\u201d if they have about the \u201ctreason\u201d committed by the Opposition leaders.
\nTalking to newsmen outside the Supreme Court of Pakistan building in Islamabad on Tuesday, Shehbaz Sharif asked both respectable military officers to share \u201cminutes\u201d of the National Security Committee (NSC) meeting in which the \u201cconspiracy letter\u201d was discussed. He said the government was lying about the National Security Committee meeting.
\nHe wondered whether the Army Chief had seen the minutes of National Security Committee meeting. He called upon the COAS and DG ISI to release a clarification regarding NSC meeting.
\nHe said the former law minister and NA deputy speaker declared 192 MNAs \u2018traitors\u2019 under Article 5. \u201cIf we are traitors, then bring evidence,\u201d he added.
\nLashing out at the National Assembly deputy speaker\u2019s ruling, the PML-N president deplored if voting on the no-confidence motion was not held again, then Pakistan would become a banana republic. He said though early election was opposition\u2019s demand but government announced elections after breaking constitution.
\nHe held that both President Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan violated the constitution. \u201cThe Constitution of Pakistan has been trampled by them,\u201d he added.
\nTaking a dig at prime minister, the opposition leader said that telling lies was in nature of Imran Khan. He (Imran) could sacrificed everything for the sake of his self-interest, he maintained.
\nHe reminded the nation when there was demand by some parties to expel the French envoy on the issue of blasphemous publication, Imran refused to do so saying that the European Union would become angry with us and it would hurt our textile exports.
\nHe wondered whether our exports would not be affected.
\nResponding to a question, the PML-N President said he has not yet officially received a letter from President Dr. Arif Alvi for appointment of the interim prime minister.
