I am sorry to say that even the apex Supreme Court of Pakistan could not prove itself helpful in panning out the current political crisis in the country. Khan and his ministers did not wholeheartedly accept the Supreme Court\u2019s verdict. In past, we used to hear from Khan that the army, the judiciary and they are always on the same page. But when the judiciary ruled against the PTI, Khan expressed his frustration and walked out of the parliament, disregarding the court\u2019s decision.
\nPakistan\u2019s political history is full of strange events. But this time the political drama was so new-fangled that it bedimmed all the films played in the bygone time. The tug-of-war continued for many days and finally ended in Imran\u2019s disgraceful expulsion. The pages of history will depone that the decision of the Supreme Court has raised the head of the judiciary with pride. The court declared the ruling of the Deputy Speaker unconstitutional, restored the assemblies and upheld the journey of democracy continued. Moreover, the opposition was given a chance to present a vote of no confidence, which resulted in Khan\u2019s ouster as a prime minister.
\nKhan was by no means ready to relinquish power. The chances were strong that the country might go down an uncertain constitutional and apolitical path. Imran was behaving like a stubborn child. Intoxicated with arrogance, he used to say that he would play till the last ball. But when defeat began to dance in front of him, he picked up the wickets like a cantankerous kid and sprang from the ground. He brought into play every gimmick to save his chair. He resorted to various narratives and tried to disguise himself in religious, emotional and different veils. But when defeat is stored for you then none can avert it. Khan held large rallies to create spectacles on the street, but even this recipe did not work. Imran Khan tried to instil in the hearts and minds of the people that he was being punished for not bowing down before the United States.
\nIn this regard, he refered to a threatening letter from the United States, a letter that no one has ever seen or read. He termed the very letter as a blow to Pakistan\u2019s independence and sovereignty. But it does not carry conviction. Is the White House so imbecilic that it conspires against the government of Pakistan and then notify the same government through an intimidating cable? Isn\u2019t so strange? Let\u2019s assume that Imran has received a threatening memo, then why didn\u2019t Imran Niazi fill in the army and other security agencies about this letter. If a conspiracy letter was received then why Imran had invited America to the OIC meeting in Islamabad. If such a letter was actually received, then why the army did not respond to its severity and kept mum. If this letter-gate is factual then why the Supreme Court did not express any concern. These arguments are enough to prove that this imaginary letter is a white lie. Maybe it\u2019s an invention of his own thinking or some kind of hallucination. Now the term \u2018imported government\u2019 is being used to provoke public sentiments against the coalition government. There is no point in blaming someone else for your own blunders. In fact, the PTI government failed to forge a working relationship with the opposition. If this government had followed the formula of mutual consultation instead of slinging mud at the opposition, all development work would have been done on time and the political temperature would have remained under control.

\nUsman Buzdar is said to be the most butterfingers Chief Minister in the history of Punjab. He had turned out badly to carry out the affairs of Punjab province in an efficient manner. Moreover, he never observed the sanctity of his pledged words. Due to Buzdar\u2019s bumbling nature not only the opposition but also the PTI workers were outraged. Due to his unknown policies and favouritism, factionalism had started in PTI Punjab Chapter. It is no exaggeration to say that everyone wanted Buzdar to resign immediately, but Khan was not in favour of this idea; and considered the demand such as a rejectamenta. When Khan was pressuirsed to resign Buzdar, stubborn Niazi refused and started bullying the Punjab Assembly. I think it was Usman Buzdar who hammered the last nail in Imran Khan\u2019s political coffin.
\nThe Senti-Tigers of PTI should remember that the PTI did not have any economists who had the capacity to turn the economic situation in the right direction. Khan\u2019s government made loud claims to these people but failed miserably in fulfilling the promises. Khan had promised that he would bring change within 100 days but the outcome is zilch even after 1332 days. The scourge of inflation has crossed all the limits and the poor are starving for two bites of bread. In the 2018 election campaign, Imran Khan had promised to make the country self-sufficient, but later he borrowed the most. And the saddest thing is that on the orders of America, the State Bank of Pakistan was mortgaged with the IMF.
