\nChainman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah has welcomed the government\u2019s decision to constitute a \u2018Lettergate\u2019 commission, meant to investigate \u2018foreign conspiracy\u2019 that led to Imran Khan\u2019s ouster as prime minister.
\nHowever, he demanded the commission should be headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) in order to remove ambiguity.
\nFaiq also suggested formulating a commission that would consist of economic experts, which could ascertain that which government had taken how much loan and how much return, and where it spent?
\nHe said the proposed economic commission should be given the task and responsibility to evaluate government initiatives and economic progress that took place after 2008 in order to pave the way for people to make decisions freely that are best for the country.
\nShah while talking to reporters here on Friday said every government when it had come into power, blamed previous regimes and predecessors and brought a storm of inflation by going through fresh loans programmes from international financial lenders, whose objectives remained political and personal.
\nHe noticed the practice has been carried out since the inception of Pakistan as an independent state.
\nThe ATP chief asked: \u201cWhen will the mistakes, incompetence and slackness be unfolded obviously and decision about the country progress would be made\u201d?
\nFaiq noticed for several decades that every finance minister, which he\/she took charge of his office, had shifted responsibility of previous governments over the crippling economy and depleting reserves, releasing themselves from everything, which is completely unjust with people.
\nSomeone presents the national economy as \u2018jugglery of words\u2019 or someone narrates about destructive economic conditions, he added.
\nThe party leader went on to say that an impartial commission would make a decision on which government has what performance.
\nHe continued to say that what incompetence\u2019s in order to choice right track to immediately overcome with situation.
\nShah emphasized that the issue of industrial zones that would be constructed under CPEC to be resolved immediately would enhance businesses, investment and trade as well as to overcome the country from the current energy crisis.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
