Says Inflation hits 11-year high in the first month of PML-N govt

\nPakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) senior leader and former federal minister Asad Umar on Sunday flayed the coalition government and went on to say the every claim of \u2018imported stooges\u2019 were based on lies.In a statement, Asad Umar alleged the every step taken by PM Shehbaz-led government is costing the country. As per details, Asad claimed only in a month, the rate of inflation reached record high of 11 years. Asad Umar lashed out at PM Shehbaz\u2019s statement over decreasing the flour price by even selling his clothes, adding that till the incompetent government rules, the economy of the country will suffer. He took to Twitter and wrote that as long as this incompetent bouquet [incumbent government] will rule, it will drown the economy and their own politics will also be buried. Later, in another Tweet, the former minister while criticizing the foreign policy of the PML-N government that is damaging the economy wrote, \u201cPM & FM powerless with London second-guessing all economic decisions. Coalition partners with their own agenda. Govt paralyzed facing urgent critical decisions. Who was the genius who thought this unnatural alliance could provide effective governance!\u201d
\nEarlier in the day, former PTI minister Hammad Azhar also lambasted the incumbent government for their economic policies and said both inflation and interest rates have reached their optimum point. Azhar took to Twitter and wrote that the country receives no help from friendly countries and the IMF issue still remains unclear while the Finance Ministry has seen tensions between London and Islamabad. He went on to say that there was no such crisis in Pakistan until two months ago adding that the sovereignty and economy of the country were attacked.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
