\nKhyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Minister for Local Government, Elections and Rural Development Faisal Amin Khan Gandapur has directed the quarters concerned to prepare a comprehensive master plan for recycling millions of tons of waste being generated by the major cities of the province.
\nFaisal Amin Khan Gandapur appreciated the services rendered by the employees of the municipality across the province.
\nHe expressed these views during a meeting with the secretary of Local Government, Elections and Rural Development at his office here on Tuesday.
\nThe provincial minister paid tributes to the municipal employees across the province for ensuring proper arrangements for health and hygiene and drinking during Eid-ul-Fitr.
\nOn this occasion, Faisal Amin Gandapure directed the officials concerned to devise a comprehensive master plan for recycling millions of tons of garbage, especially from cities, on a scientific basis.
\nHe said that since he has taken charge of his post, KP local bodies department has breathed new life into it.
\nThe local body staff in the entire province, including the merged districts has started rendering services more diligently, he added.
\nThe Local Government Minister said that those who performed their duties with utmost honesty would be appreciated.
\n\u201cWe will not hesitate to reprimand the officials who have committed negligence and theft in the public service,\u201d he added.
