\nPakistan\u2019s speedster Shoaib Akhtar has reacted to former India batter Varinder Sehwag\u2019s statement, in which the latter had alleged him of \u201cchucking\u201d and \u201cjerking his elbow during ball release\u201d.
\n\u201c\u201cCricketers should make sure their statements don\u2019t disturb the harmony between India and Pakistan. If there\u2019s scope for improvement in relations between the two countries, I should be able to play that bridge,\u201d Akhtar said, while talking to a sports website.
\n\u201cI request Sehwag to be mindful while making such statements in the age of social media. I would request Virender Sehwag not to make such statements. If he knows more than the ICC, then I would agree with him. But that is his opinion. Rest, I can\u2019t say much about that,\u201d he added.
\n\u201cI don\u2019t know if he has said this in a light-hearted tone or seriously. But whatever he says, I don\u2019t feel bad about it at all. I wish him all the best.
