\nPTI Chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday vehemently criticised the government and said the incumbent rulers would \u201cnot do anything without the approval of the United States\u201d. Former prime minister said that he would announce date for the long march after Supreme Court\u2019s decision. Addressing PTI\u2019s national council on Wednesday, Imran Khan while asking the party workers to be prepared for his call one they get clearance from the apex court said that it will be the biggest protest in Pakistan\u2019s history.
\nThe former PM said while lashing out at the government said that they are afraid that if America is disgruntled with them, then they will suffer the same fate as the Russian oligarchs, claiming that from 2008 to 2018, adding that the US carried out 400 drone attacks on Pakistan, a number that had been unprecedented. Khan said the former president Asif Ali Zardari and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif did not condemn when the drone attacks were taking place in Pakistan despite Islamabad being an ally of Washington.
\nTaking a dig at PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the PTI chairman said, Bilawal did a long march towards Islamabad when Rs4 per litre was increased by his government. Where is he now when the fuel prices have been jacked up by Rs60 per litre? In the ruling tenure of the PTI government, the petrol was increased by Rs55 per litre, but the \u2018imported government\u2019 has raised its prices by Rs60 in just 15 days, he was quoted.
\nFormer Prime Minister Imran Khan has once again been elected as the chairman unopposed of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) as other candidates had withdrawn in his favour. PTI leaders Umar Sarfaraz Cheema and Naik Muhammad were the other two contenders who were running for the top slog of chairman. Besides it, Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Asad Umar were also re-elected as the vice-chairman and the secretary-general of the party, respectively.
\nKhan was addressing party workers and leaders at the PTI\u2019s National Council Meeting after he was re-elected as the chairman unopposed as other candidates had withdrawn in his favour.
\nPTI leaders Umar Sarfaraz Cheema and Naik Muhammad were the other two contenders who were running for chairman. Moreover, Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Asad Umar have also been re-elected as the vice-chairman and the secretary-general of the party, respectively.
\nThe PTI chairman said they will \u201cnot take a stand for the nation\u201d as they have billions of dollars stored in foreign bank accounts, which they will protect at any cost.
