Khan has no economic plan or political program. Being otiose, his pet-talk is to deride and hoot at the army and judiciary from every forum, holding them responsible for all that had gone wrong with his regime. The captain\u2019s spirits are low, eyes are red and his ability to think and understand is paralysed. He is obsessed with overthrowing this government. Khan has started making strange, reckless and incomprehensible statements. Sometimes he speaks of an international conspiracy, while sometimes he directs his followers to gird up for a bloody revolution. What a mercurial and grasshopper personality he has. So unpredictable he is, so hard to adumbrate his future action. Now Khan has made a terrible prediction that Pakistan might break up into three parts. Khan should have had a debriefing after making this statement. It is a pity that his admirers accept every word of him without any hesitation. Responsible institutions are also silent spectators awaiting for the grand finale. The PTI has knocked on the door of the Supreme Court and claimed that they were the victims of \u2018state violence\u2019. But the PTI failed in its petition as the court held that the marchers had gone to the D-Chowk in violation of its directions. Every morning when Imran Khan opens his eyes, he issues a new statement contrary to the previous one. Khan escapes his memory that he has been the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, so he should think before he speaks. His statements are examined from different angles. Khan\u2019s latest statement is particularly worrying that he did not have the full power to run the country and the real centre of power is elsewhere and everyone knows where it is. He added that for running the government the authority should be undivided. Many conclusions can be drawn from the analysis of this statement. There is much ammunition hidden in this statement that it can shake the foundations of the political system of the country. In fact, Khan wants to convey the message that this was not a failure of the PTI but of the army since our establishment is the actual magnate. It also gives the impression that democracy in Pakistan is at the mercy of the military. After being disappointed, Khan Sahib needs an excuse, an institution, a slogan or a person on whom he can throw the rubble of his failure.

This will keep the economic train on the right track. And future governments, no matter which party they belong to, will not face economic difficulties. Imran Khan was given this advice, but his ego and stubbornness did not allow him to do so. Khan used to say that he would never join hands with the thieves and robbers. Now that the government is gone, but PTI is in a state of street protest and seemingly hopeful that if elections are held it will win by a two-thirds majority.
\nThe PML-N has staked its political life on contingency by accepting the government of a country with totaled economic muscles. The Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif reminds me of a famous saying that a cunning crow always gets caught with difficulty, but when it is trapped, it gets stuck with both the claws. I think Shahbaz Sharif is badly trapped. He will suffer the failures of the previous government

He may have been saying in his heart about Shahbaz Sharif and his party that \u2018the hunter is caught in his own trap\u2019. His son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has been enjoying a tour of the world since taking the oath as a foreign minister of Pakistan. In fact, Bilawal Bhutto has a great opportunity to groom as a foreign minister, adding feathers to his cap. What is shocking for the PML-N is that the PPP as a party has practically distanced itself from the tsunami of inflation. Asif Ali Zardari has been heard saying in private meetings that it is the job of the prime minister to save the people from the scourge of inflation.
\nFurther IMF conditions remain to be met. According to a well placed source there is a deadlock with the IMF on the tax target of Rs 7255 billion and similarly no consensus on the budget deficit targets. The IMF has demanded a 30 per cent tax on salaried persons, according to which it has been proposed to levy 30 per cent flat tax on all those earning Rs 100,000 to Rs 10 lakh per month. If this is implemented, the monthly income of those earning one lakh rupees will suddenly become seventy thousand.
\nIt seems to me that Pakistan is a birthday cake. Every year on 14th August there is an applause and then the rulers get busy eating this cake. This country is like a football for those in power who enjoy kicking it in different directions. In Pakistan, when a person becomes the Prime Minister, he actually becomes the owner of the country, and he can do whatever he wants. Mian Shahbaz Sharif himself became the Prime Minister while his son Hamza Shahbaz was made the Chief Minister of Punjab. What a shame that both father and son, who hold high positions, have to appear in the courts on a daily basis in corruption cases.
\nWhen we take a closer look at the current situation, it becomes clear that the Pakistan Army and the judiciary have played a commendable role in the whole context.
