\nAl-Khedmat Foundation vowed that it will freely provide medical aid in Pakistan to the Afghan children who have got cardiac problems.
\nThis was stated by the chairman Al-Khedmat Foundation (health) Dr Hafizurrehman while receiving the first group of nine Afghan heart patients\u2019 children here at Torkham Border on Friday.
\nIn this connection a simple gathering was organized at the crossing that was attended by the health branch Foundation chief Dr Hafizurrehman,General Manager Sufyan Ahmad,Pak-Afghan Cooperation Forum(PACF) chairman Habibullah Khattak,heart specialist Dr Abdul Malik and an Afghan officials.
\nDr Hafizurrehman said that the Foundation will bear approximately 0.8 million rupees per patient expenses to treat the nine heart patients Afghan children in Lahore Teaching Hospital.
\nThe Foundation takes the responsibility of cure in Pakistan to those Afghan children who have got various kinds of heart complications in addition capacity building of health staff and needed health instruments will also be given to the Kabul hospital, he remarked.
\nChairman PACF Habibullah said that since August 15, 2021 so far 15 thousand metric tons food, medicines and other items have been provided to the Afghan citizens.
\nWith support of philanthropists three free eyes camps have been set up in Afghanistan where almost tens thousands visiting patients have been examined and 1500 eyes operations have been carried out, he added and said necessary medical equipment and medicines have been supplied to health centers in Kabul to facilitate the ailing segments of Afghan society.
\nAt the end the Afghan official thanked the officials of the Foundation and PACF for the noble act and said it will further deepen ties between the two neighboring and brotherly countries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
