\nKhyber Medical University (KMU) Peshawar has announced the results of the MBBS final professional annual examinations session 2021. A total of 1817 students appeared in the said examination out of which 1698 passed with an overall passing ratio of 93%.
\nAccording to the results, Noor Ayaz student of Khyber Girls Medical College (KGMC) Peshawar clinched first position with 1430 marks, Sharain Shams of the same college and Hira Zahid of North West School of Medicine Peshawar jointly with 1424 marks secured 2nd position, whereas Sidra Balqees of Khyber Medical College Peshawar grabbed the third position with 1423 marks.
\nAccording to the details, a total of 1817 students from 10 public and 7 private sector medical colleges of the province participated in the said examination 1698 passed while the overall result success ratio was 93%.
\nIt is worth mentioning that there are a total of 1600 marks in MBBS final professional examination in which at least 50% marks in each subject are required for success in each subject.
\nMeanwhile, the Vice-Chancellor KMU, Prof. Dr. Zia ul Haq congratulated the successful students, especially the first, second and third position holders, and said that these young doctors are the pride of the nation.
\nHe said that these young doctors would not only fulfill the expectations of their parents and teachers but would also play a dynamic and sincere role in the welfare and betterment of society by making the service of suffering humanity their life\u2019s mission.
\nHe appreciated the role and hard work of the Controller Examinations Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem Gandapur, Additional Controller Examinations Dr. Syed Hafeez Ahmed and his team, and the examiners in preparing the examination results and ensuring transparency of the examination system.
\nHe hoped that in view of the importance of medical education the successful students would continue their hard work with the same zeal and enthusiasm in the future and would not allow any expediency or pressure in promoting a culture of merit and transparency.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
