\nElection Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has reserved judgment on prohibited funding case against PTI.
\nThe case came up for hearing before a 3-member bench of election commission presided over by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) here Tuesday.
\nArsalan Virdik, financial expert to petitioner Akbar S Babar said he will complete his talk within an hour and will talk of those statistics which are vague.
\nHe said it is admitted fact money came from UK.
\nCEC remarked if there is some admitted fact then why are you repeating it.
\nArsalan Virdik said it is not known about the money received from Canada that who had given it. Funds came from Vooten cricket limited and its registration number has been given. 49000 dollars came from another UAE firm. PTI has not denied this funding.
\nHe said that no details are given in donors lists. Funds were received by PTI from 13 countries. Australian agent wrote no record is available about 41000 dollars. Rs 2 crores were received in PTI chairman office but no record is available. 41 out of 50 banks did not give reply to scrutiny committee.
\nPTI neglected the standard and norms of audit, he added. Donors are not third party but they are PTI own made companies.
\nAkbar S Babar said before the commission in the history of Pakistan any political party is providing details of funding to ECP. Every political party should be accountable to ECP.
\nThe CEC remarked on completion of hearing ECP wants to restore the confidence of voter and strengthen the country democratically. ECP has reserved judgment. If need be the respondents can be summoned again.
\nTalking to media men outside ECP Akbar S Babar said it was our motive from the very first day that we have to make PTI a role model and such a political party which sets precedent for others to follow.
