The schedule for approving the budget for the financial year 2022-23 today has been changed. Sources told under the amendments in the finance bill, the overall target of the budget will be changed by changing different targets. Decision has been taken to change the ratio of taxes and duties through amendments. The government is taking its coalition partners into confidence on these amendments. The amendment finance bill will be got approved from the cabinet in consultation with allied parties. Earlier the finance amendment bill was to be approved from National Assembly on June 24 and the bill will now be got approved from NA next week after making amendments in the light of IMF conditionalities.
