\nPakistan Sports Board (PSB) is falling a prey to nepotism and graft activities, as board\u2019s current Director General Asif Zaman, who was appointed by the previous PTI government, is allegedly misusing his powers.
\nAccording to an official document by the PSB, cancellation of pension to hundreds of retired and on duty officers and employees of the board was planned in a most recent meeting.
\nAll this is being done on the directions given by the current DG, Online has learnt.
\nAdding to this, DG Zaman is trying to grasp additional powers of board\u2019s Principle Accounting Officer. Currently the Principle Secretary of Inter-provincial coordination is the Principle Accounting Officer of PSB.
\nWell placed sources told Online that these PSB Structure Service Rules were drafted during previous PTI government\u2019s tenure. Proposal will be presented before PSB\u2019s board\u2019s next meeting for final approval, sources added.
\nOn the other hand, retired and servicing employees of PSB are under dire stress amidst these proposals, and they have demanded PM Shehbaz Sharif and relative authorities to take notice of the matter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
