\nPakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincial Secretary Information and Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Zahir Shah Turo has said the government was taking all possible steps to rehabilitate the flood affected people in the province.
\nIn a statement issued here on Thursday he said that Chief Minister Mahmood Khan was closely monitoring the relief activities carried out by relevant departments in the flood affected areas of KP.
\nIn order to ensure immediate provision of financial assistance to affected people and to take result oriented steps for the rehabilitation of people suffered by rains party leadership and government on the same page, he added.
\nZahir Shah Turo said the party\u2019s provincial president Pervez Khan Khattak had instructed the party workers to immediately reach the areas affected by floods or monsoon rains.
\nThe PTI-KP spokesperson claimed that provision of all kinds of assistance to the victims and asked party workers to contact the district administration and PDMA regarding any kind of emergency.
\nNo one would be left from assistance as the provincial government had chalked out a comprehensive plan to assist everyone affected due rain related calamity, he added.
\nEarlier a statement issued by the Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information and Broadcast Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif said that from June 15 to July 12, a total of 80 houses were fully damaged whereas over 272 houses were partially damaged in the various districts of the province due to a heavy rain.
\nHe informed that a total of 27 deaths and 37 injuries were also reported till date. The provincial government concerned department s rescue and relief activities are in full swing in the flood affected areas of the province. On the direction of Chief Minister tents, food items, drinking water and other necessary commodities have been distributed among the affected people. According to the provincial government data, about 150 patients have been examined by health teams at different medical camps. The provincial livestock department has also been alerted and it has established a free camp in Tank to ensure vaccination to animals.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
