\nPakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Wana protested against inflation, non-availability of cheap flour, closure of 3G and 4G and unannounced load shedding.
\nThe demonstration was attended by a large number of people belonging to different schools of thought, including the PTI Tigers.
\nPTI leaders Ghulam Rasool, Haroon Wazir, Malik Hazrat Noor Wazir, Aziz Wazir and Imranullah Wazir and others addressed the gathering.
\nThey said that due to incompetence of the government, inflation has become uncontrollable which has made the poor people helpless. Therefore, the government should control inflation.
\nThey said that the federal government was treating the people of the tribal districts like a stepmother and appealed to the federal government to apply Khan Sahib\u2019s formula to curb the current spiraling inflation and provide subsidy to the people on essential commodities.
\nDemonstrators said that during the construction of Gomal Zam Dam, former President Musharraf had promised with the tribal elders during a jirga that three megawatts of electricity would be provided free of cost to the people of Wana.
\nBut the concerned authorities are far from implementing it and the power is suspended every day.
\nFinally, the speakers said that the 3G, 4G network suspended for the last 40 days in South Waziristan District Wana, should be restored immediately.
\nThe PTI Tigers marched from Wana Bazaar to the main gate of the Wana Scouts camp where they recorded their protest.
\nOn the occasion, the Wana Tehsildar of the district administration held talks with the protesters and assured them that their legitimate demands would be conveyed to the higher authorities and resolved.
