{"id":27162,"date":"2018-06-08T18:47:29","date_gmt":"2018-06-08T08:47:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=27162"},"modified":"2018-06-08T18:47:29","modified_gmt":"2018-06-08T08:47:29","slug":"nawaz-challenges-verdict-of-ac","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/nawaz-challenges-verdict-of-ac\/","title":{"rendered":"Nawaz challenges verdict of AC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Islamabad High Court<\/p>\n<p>INP<br \/>\nISLAMABAD<br \/>\nFormer Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday has challenged the verdict of Accountability court of dismissing the miscellaneous petition submitted for final arguments in all three references to be heard together in Islamabad High Court today.<br \/>\nAccording to the details, Nawaz Sharif stated decision was given against the law by rejecting my plea for joint arguments.<br \/>\nFormer Prime Minister has pleaded IHC to nullify verdict of the accountability court.<br \/>\nOn May 5, accountability court dismissed the miscellaneous petition, submitted by the former PM Nawaz Sharif, requesting for final arguments in all the three references against the Sharif family to be heard together.<br \/>\n\u201dYou may challenge the verdict in the high court,\u201d remarked Accountability Judge Muhammad Bashir after dismissing the petition.<br \/>\nEarlier, Khawaja Haris, who submitted the petition on Nawaz\u2019s behalf, remarked that the National Accountability Bureau\u2019s claims that the facts in all three references are different are \u201cincorrect\u201d.\u201cNAB brought Gulf Steel Mills, Qatari letter in all the references,\u201d he said, adding that the witnesses in the references are also the same.<br \/>\n\u201cThe final arguments should be postponed till Wajid Zia and investigating officer record their statements in remaining two references,\u201d the petition states.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Islamabad High Court INP ISLAMABAD Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday has challenged the verdict of Accountability court of dismissing the miscellaneous petition submitted for final arguments in all three references to be heard together in Islamabad High Court today.
