{"id":271700,"date":"2022-07-17T09:25:17","date_gmt":"2022-07-17T04:25:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=271700"},"modified":"2022-07-17T09:25:17","modified_gmt":"2022-07-17T04:25:17","slug":"punjab-obtains-evidence-of-corruption-against-ex-cm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/punjab-obtains-evidence-of-corruption-against-ex-cm\/","title":{"rendered":"Punjab obtains \u2018evidence\u2019 of corruption against ex-CM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> LAHORE<br \/>\nThe Punjab government has obtained substantial evidence of corruption against former chief minister Usman Buzdar who allegedly plowed billions of rupees into different investments.<br \/>\nThe government has expedited efforts for action against Buzdar\u2013who has already obtained bails in different fraud and corruption cases\u2013and his accomplices in light of the reports compiled by law enforcement agencies (LEAs) and the intelligence bureau (IB).<br \/>\nThe government has also obtained substantial evidence against two alleged frontmen of the ex-CM.<br \/>\nThe agencies probing corruption charges against ex-CM have also tracked down details of bank accounts in the name of Buzdar\u2019s front men.<br \/>\nThe provincial government has also got its hand on more evidence of corruption and kickbacks against Buzdar\u2019s paternal uncle Ameer Taimur. According to the report, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and anti-corruption department have evidence of investments\u2013worth billions of rupees\u2013made by Buzdar in Pakistan.<br \/>\nIt is also expected that during the investigation, the staff members of the former chief minister would make eye-popping revelations regarding ex-CM and Farha Gogi \u2013 a close friend of former first lady Bushra Bibi who is Imran Khan\u2019s wife.<br \/>\nThe Punjab government has also decided to oppose Buzdar\u2019s bail in the Lahore High Court (LHC) and provide evidence against him.<br \/>\nThe evidence against the former CM have also been dispatched to Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.<br \/>\nIt has also been learned that many members of Buzdar\u2019s staff have agreed to become informers against him. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE The Punjab government has obtained substantial evidence of corruption against former chief minister Usman Buzdar who allegedly plowed billions of rupees into different investments.
