\nIn Wana, the district headquarters of the tribal district of South Waziristan, students belonging to various educational institutions decided to go to court against the internet shutdown, an important meeting of the Wana Students Society was held.
\nThe meeting was led by Hayat Zindawar Wazir, on this occasion students of various universities and colleges were present, including Asif Khan Wazir, Abid Wazir and Usman Wazir among others.
\nOn this occasion, the student leaders demanded the government to immediately restore 3G and 4G internet in Wana Waziristan.
\nThey also said that at the same time dharna will be held in Wana and this dharna will continue till internet 3G\/4G is restored in South Waziristan.
\nAnd will go to every front except the court and sit-in against the unjustified shutdown of the Internet.
\nIt should be noted that the former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan had announced the restoration of Internet on the occasion of his visit to South Waziristan Wana,
\nBut the internet is sometimes restored and sometimes down due to unknown reasons, which is causing problems for students taking online classes as well as sections belonging to all schools of thought keeping up with the demands of the modern age.
\nAlthough some people are also saying that the government should make it clear that if Waziristan is a part of Pakistan, then why this behavior is being tolerated with the residents here.
\nIt is to be noted that 3G and 4G internet has been closed in South Waziristan Wana for the last 42 days, but the government has not issued any statement regarding this internet shutdown.
\nWana Students Society has started a fundraising campaign to approach the court for the restoration of the Internet. Locally, Jazz Cash and bank account numbers for Waziristan living abroad have also been released on social media.
\nThe students say that now the court will take the decision of us and the government.
\nOn the other hand, sources say that the internet has been closed in South Waziristan due to security concerns.
\nIt will be opened soon after the situation returns to normal.
