\nPublic Accounts Committee (PAC) has decided to order police to bring DG Nab Lahore and interim Chairman before committee, if he does not appears before the committee on Wednesday.
\nIt has emerged during PAC meeting on Tuesday as the committee summons DG on Wednesday.
\nChairman PAC Noor Alim Khan told that the interim Chairman and DG Nab Lahore has challenged the PAC rights in Islamabad High Court and ask court to cancel PAC recommendation of 24 June.
\nThe PAC Chairman termed this action as contempt of parliament.
\nTalking to the media chairman said it is clear in the article-66 and 69 says clear that PAC can ask for documents from any department.
\nAccording to services rules all department has to submit their assets to establishment division or law ministry and Nab is a civil institution not military, he went on, whether it\u2019s Nab or FIA, all the employees has to declare their assets.
\nHe maintained that, Nab has challenged it in court, I want to ask courts that they want to stop corruption or not.
\nHe questioned that how the jurisdiction (given to committee in 1973 constitution) could be challenged?
