\nConference tilted \u201cUlema o Zakireen Conference\u201d held under the auspices of Shia Ulema Council Pakistan (SUC) in Islamabad.
\nThe participants acknowledged the efforts and initiatives of Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafaria Pakistan Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi for \u201cUnity of Muslims\u201d at home and abroad.
\nQuaid-e-Millat-e-Islamia Ayatollah Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi while addressing the gathering said that the school of Shia is the school of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) which comprises of enlightened thought, knowledge and practice.
\nOur school of thought has nothing to do with ignorance and inaction. He further said that we consider the promotion of knowledge and practices through the sermons and pulpit in the light of the Islamic beliefs and ideas of the school of Shiism.
\nWe want to draw the attention of the people of pulpit (Ulema o Zakireen) to the fact that by explaining Shi\u2019ism to the people in a clear and transparent manner, individuals should be helpful and fulfill the great duty of serving the nation.
\nWe the Shia school of thought is the name of a universal Islamic school of thought, whose people are patriotic, civilized, law-abiding, and just as our leaders and forefathers offered life and financial sacrifices in the formation of Pakistan, in the same way, Shiite are ambassadors of peace and unity and on the frontline in the formation of Pakistan.
\nSpeakers said that we will continue to advance the our struggle under the leadership of Hazrat Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, the advocate of the unity of the Muslims, and the leader of the Jafaria Pakistan.
\nThe Central Secretary General SUC, Allama Dr. Shabbir Hasan Maisami emphasized on the representation of all schools of thought in the institutions in the country\u2019s largest Sharia Court Federal Sharia Court and Islamic Research Institute.
\nIn the conference, it was emphasized that this country-wide representative gathering considers the Azadari Imam Hussain A.S (mourning of the grandson of the Holy Prophet, Imam Hussain(a.s.) as a lifeline and considers it as a constitutional, legal and religious right, as well as an issue of civil liberties of the people.
\nTherefore, the state should take such measures that they can use their right with safety and freedom and can observe the mourning (Azadari) without any danger and fear and can organize gatherings and Jaloos-e-Aza.
\nScholars from all over the country expressed that in the light of the suggestions and objections presented by the representatives of the Shia Wifaq ul Maddaris of Pakistan, a uniform national curriculum should be set up and their suggestions should be made a part of the curriculum.
\nThe participants of this conference expressed concern over the fact that neither the murderers and criminals involved in the national tragedies in different parts of the country in the past been brought to justice nor the relief has not been provided to the families of the martyrs.
\nIn this conference, regarding pilgrim policy, it was demanded that the policy for pilgrims going to visit holy places should be revised in the light of the suggestions and opinions of the Shia Ulema Council (SUC), and fool-proof security arrangements should be ensured.
\nThe participants of the conference are deeply concerned about the living below the poverty line of a large population of the country as a result of the ongoing severe inflation and unemployment.
\nConference supported the wave of Islamic awareness in the world and feels that the process of encouraging and supporting the leading forces and people in the struggle for Islamic awareness should continue.
\nThe forum sought the attention of international forums like the Islamic Summit Organization including the United Nations drawn towards the freedom of the Bait-ul-Muqadas, the atrocities of the usurper and aggressor Israel on the oppressed Palestinian and Lebanese Muslims, and the Indian aggression on the innocent and innocent Kashmiris in the neighborhood.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
