\nThe Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) demanded holding of early elections and reforms without any further delay, while its central committee declared it as the best solution.
\nThe party also called upon political parties and relevant institutions to play their due role in this regard.
\nThese remarks were made by the ATP chairman Muhammad Faiq Shah while briefing media after chairing central committee of the part here on Friday.
\nOn the occasion, the sitting jointly adopted a resolution, condemning current political instability, economic turmoil, and lack of proper attention toward destruction that were brought by torrential rains and flash floods in the country.
\nThe chair during the meeting instructed the party\u2019s leaders and workers to take part in relief and rescue activities and fully assist the flood-affectees at every level in order to restore normal life.
\nShah noted the national economy has been destroyed owing to a political circus.
\nA consistent stagnation is witnessing industries and business growth that would cause their permanent closure under prevailing circumstances, he added.
\nOn the other hand, the ATP chief observed that the country has sunk into rainwater and floods as a result of torrential rains.
\nWhether ruling alliance or opposition, all of them have become entangled in personal fights, he added.
\nFaiq lamented it is a huge national tragedy that hundreds of people reportedly died and a large number of people became homeless while many houses and livestock also washed away in flash floods in the country.
\nHowever, he said no one is available to compensate the flood-hit people.
\nShah expressed dismay over leaving flood-affected people into lurch in their time-testing and difficult situation.
\nHe noticed: \u2018One Man Show\u2019 and \u2018Tug of War\u2019 is continued in every institution of the country which has made it obligatory to eliminate them by formation of a joint Board of Wisdom and Honesty [BWH], wherein everyone should make decisions jointly and with due consensus.
\nIt is quite difficult for any new government to resolve issues within one year, Faiq remarked.
\nTherefore, the ATP chief stressed the need of focusing on elections and reforms.
\nHe warned that nothing would survive if they didn\u2019t think about the country.
\nShah noted the federal and provincial governments presently failed to present a joint agenda.
\nHe urged the judiciary and military to play a role in dialogue to immediately remove political uncertainty in the country.
