\nNational Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), the Custodian of national database, is using state of the art technology for managing its data and systems to issue national identity documents like CNIC, NICOP, CRC, FRC etc, To assist the Government and private sector organizations (like telcos and banks) in CNIC verification, NADRA has provided them with VERISYS service.
\nRecently, it has been widely observed that various android\/desktop applications and websites claim to provide details of NADRA database, CNIC images, information and family tree details etc.
\nPlease be aware that all such applications\/websites are a scam just to gain more traffic on their websites and more downloads of android applications. It is assured to all citizens of Pakistan that NADRA database is secure and has not been shared\/ leaked to any third party.
\nIn order to curb such illegal fraud activity, the FIA\u2019s Cyber Crime wing has been approached to take stern action against such criminal activity and advertisements.
