\nThe district administration has imposed 90 days ban on 110 Firebrand clerics including Ulemas and Zakireens to enter the premises of District Attock in order to maintain the situation of law and order during the month of Muharram ul Harram.
\nSpeaking at a meeting of the district ulema board and peace committee on Friday, the deputy commissioner Zulqurnain has said that the district administration has banned the entry of all religious leaders delivering hate speeches in a bid to maintain religious harmony and law and order situation in the district during Muharram ul Harram.
\nThe meeting was also attended by deputy commissioner general Zulfiqar Ahmed, all the assistant commissioners of six tehsils, district emergency officer, executive district health officer health, officials from various government departments and police.
\nHe said that the district administration and the police with the help of organisers of the \u2018Ashura\u2019 processions would ensure that all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for curbing the virus are followed.
\nHe informed that the district administration has banned the entry for 90 days of 110 religious scholars belonging to different schools of thought in the jurisdiction of Attock district to ensure peace and maintain law and order during the holy month of Muharramul Harram adding that the ban will be effective from 1st Muharram.
\nHe informed that all traditional licence-holders processions and other rallies would be allowed during the Muharram but organisers were bound to inform the district administration before taking out processions. Mr Zulqurnain has appealed to the ulema and religious scholars of all sects to work together to maintain religious harmony during the sensitive month of Muharram.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
