{"id":276999,"date":"2022-08-13T08:21:37","date_gmt":"2022-08-13T03:21:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=276999"},"modified":"2022-08-13T08:22:17","modified_gmt":"2022-08-13T03:22:17","slug":"capital-police-is-directed-to-maintain-smooth-flow-of-traffic-on-roads","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/capital-police-is-directed-to-maintain-smooth-flow-of-traffic-on-roads\/","title":{"rendered":"Capital Police is directed to maintain smooth flow of traffic on roads"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD<br \/>\nIslamabad Capital Police (ICTP) has been directed to ensure smooth flow of traffic at IJP road, Srinagar (Kashmir) Highway and Islamabad expressway and take stern action against those creating inconvenience for the road users.<br \/>\nWhile reviewing the overall performance report about traffic related issues, Senior Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Syed Mustafa Tanweer directed to depute special squads at Islamabad Expressway, IJP road, Srinagar (Kashmir) Highway and other important boulevards to ensure smooth traffic flow there.<br \/>\nHe said that complaints about any inconvenience to people can be lodged with ICTP Helpline 1915 or 051-9261992-93 which would be addressed promptly.<br \/>\nFollowing the directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the SSP (Traffic) said that ICTP is taking steps to ensure safe road environment in the city with maximum convenience to road users. He said that special enforcement squads have been constituted to ensure the implementation of traffic rules and smooth flow of traffic in busy areas.<br \/>\nHe further directed traffic police personnels to ensure traffic discipline in the city and take action against violators without any discrimination.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, the spokesman said that 39,674 vehicles have been fined during the current year for hampering smooth flow of traffic and involvement in, over-loading.<br \/>\nThe police spokesman said that efforts are underway to ensure smooth traffic flow in the city and cooperation of road users in crucial to overcome traffic related problems.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD Islamabad Capital Police (ICTP) has been directed to ensure smooth flow of traffic at IJP road, Srinagar (Kashmir) Highway and Islamabad expressway and take stern action against those creating inconvenience for the road users.
