\nLike other parts of the country, the Diamond Jubilee 75th Independence Day was celebrated in Abdul Wali Khan Sports Complex Charsadda with special ceremonies of flag\u2019s hoisting under the aegis of District Administration, District Sports Officer, District Youth and Al-Khidmat Foundation held with more than a 1000 kids of various schools across districts presented National songs, culture dress show, skits and eye-catching tableaus.
\nKhyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Fazal-e-Shakoor Khan, Deputy Commissioner Charsadda Capt. (Retd) Abdur Rehman, Mayor Charsadda Maulana Abdur Rauf Shakir, Additional Deputy Commissioner Miss Sania Safi, AC Alveena Faiz, District Sports Officer Tehseen Ullah, officials of the Private Education Network, Teaching Staff of the Government School, Peace College, Read Schools, elders of the area and more than 1000 boys and girls students, and players enthusiastically participated.
\nThe guest along with a well-dress KP Police and Rescue 1122 contingents along with the guests and schools kids hoisted the flag at Abdul Wali Khan Sports Complex Lawn before the ceremony started from the Holy Quran by Muhammad Umar. The Police Jawan also presented salami, followed by the National Anthem. The guests, elders of the area, kids, players and officials also offered special prayers for the national development and prosperity of country Pakistan.
\nThe children from different schools presented Urdu, English and Pashto speeches, national songs and tableaus, 12 different sports events including table tennis male and female, badminton male and female, athletics male and female, volleyball male and female, football, tug-of-war male and female, swimming, marathon, hockey, cycle race, martial arts male and female, throw ball and cricket male and female have already been continued since August 1, 2022.
\nKP Law Minister Fazal-e-Shakoor said that freedom is a blessing and should be valued, Pakistan is our identity to include it in the ranks of developed countries. He said that the youth should actively participate in extracurricular activities and highlight their creative abilities as well in sports.
\nHe stressed on the youth that sports should be used for mental and physical development as well as to bring glory to the country and the nation.
\nDeputy Commissioner Charsadda Captain (retd) Abdul Rehman while addressing said that it is our moral responsibility to guide our youth in the right direction because our future is in the hands of these children. He said that our elders have sacrificed a lot for the establishment of Pakistan.
\n\u201cWe also have to explain the meaning of freedom to our youth so that they are always ready for any sacrifice and make Pakistan prosperous in the countries of the world,\u201d he added.
