\nSpecial Assistant to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Information and Public Relations Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif has slammed the federal government over the recent increase in petrol prices by Rs6.72, adding that the incumbent government has failed to provide any relief to inflation hit people.
\nIn a statement issued here on Wednesday, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif the federal government did not care of its people while taking decision related to fuel prices, adding that petroleum products prices in the international markets have lowered but the prices of the same was being increased.
\n\u201cThis is a major proof of the incompetence of this imported government. The imported government has been busy sucking the blood of the people since the beginning,\u201d he added.
\nMr Saif said that Inflation has reached the highest level in history, but the imported government was not paying any attention to it.
\nHe said that the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) leadership were only struggling to secure power, adding that the federal government after securing government was now oblivious to masses problems and currents of inflation, unemployment and other important issues.
\n \u201cIt is not their (PDM) job to provide relief to the people, nor is this government serious about it,\u201d he added and sad that by-elections to be held in September, the people will once again express their confidence in Chairman Imran Khan.
\nHe went on to say that \u201cimported government\u201d days were numbered as people would reject them in upcoming by-elections.
\nHe demanded of the federal government to provide relief to people and lower the prices of essential commodities, especially fuel prices, as soon as possible.
\nThe spokesperson of the provincial government also criticized the statement of the finance minister in which he had said that prices of diesel and petrol would go up in coming days.
\nBarrister Muhammad Ali Saif said that the federal government has completely failed to provide relief to the people.
