\nSpecial Assistant to Chief Minister for Information and Public Relations, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif has appealed to affluent, philanthropists and everyone to donate their funds in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Relief Fund.
\nIn a statement, he said that the provincial government has taken measures to speed up the process of provisions relief supply to flood-hit people across the province.
\nBarrister Mohammad Ali Saif said that KP government was utilizing all available resources to rehabilitate the flood victims. \u201cChief Minister Mehmood Khan is keenly supervising all the relief and rehabilitation measures and has directed to cabinet members and other relevant officials to pay regular visits areas severely affected by flash floods and torrential rains in various districts,\u201d he added.
\nBeside, Flood Control Room in the Chief Minister\u2019s Secretariat, the provincial government had also established a relief fund for the relief of the flood victims, in which well-wishers can donate generously, he added.
\nSpecial Assistant for Information and Public Relations said the relief and rehabilitation operations in the flood-affected areas have accelerated. Mr Saif shared that flooded roads and bridges in remote areas were being restored to allow relief supplies to be delivered by land to residents and to restore traffic.
\nHe said that all relevant departments are working with full capacity in the relief and rehabilitation operation.
\nChief Minister Mahmood Khan has been visiting the flood-affected areas for the past several days, where he was assessing the damage caused by the flood, as well as listening to the problems of the citizens and issuing orders to solve these problems.
\nUnder the leadership of Chief Minister Mehmood Khan, steps will be taken to restore the last flood-affected house in the province.
