\nAwami National Party (ANP) senior representative and unanimous candidate of PDM for NA-31 Ghulam Ahmed Bilour on Wednesday strongly criticized PTI\u2019s government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for utilizing provincial resources for public gathering of Imran Khan in Peshawar the other day.
\nAddressing a press conference at Bilour House here, he said that despite spending lavishly and utilizing government resources, the provincial government miserably failed to attract masses, adding that the provincial government openly violated elections\u2019 rules and code of conduct but the election commission was not taking any action.
\nHe warned that if such violations would continue in the by-polls the ANP and allied parties would decide their own course of actions.
\nBilou said that the provincial government was trying to divert the attention of masses from floods\u2019 devastations and the government measures while instead it was utilizing all its energies for Imran Khan\u2019s public gathering, adding that PTI chairman Imran Khan didn\u2019t say any word for flood affectees during his speech which show his apathy for the flood victims.
\nHe said Imran Khan\u2019s controversial statements in Faisalabad and Sargodha public gatherings were tantamount to damaging the national interest and making the institutions controversial.
\nBilour said that Imran was trying to create rift in the country and supporting the presidential form of government, adding that ANP would strongly resist any such move.
\nThe ANP leader emphasized upon construction of new dams to protect the country from future disasters, however he opposed Kalabagh dam and said it would damage the province and therefore the project was buried long ago and there was no need to discuss controversial projects.
\nBilour criticized Imran for using slang language against JUIF leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman and said that it was against the traditions of KP, adding that Maulana Fazlur Rehman was a religious leader and he should be respected.
\nHe further said that PTI leader always uses inappropriate language against PMLN leader Nawaz Sharif and PPP leader Asif Zardari but unfortunately his four-year government could not prove any allegation against the two leaders.
\nHe said Imran Khan only knows how to defame others by leveling baseless allegations and he is unaware of politics, adding that Imran resorted to defaming others and making institutions controversial after being ousted from the power.
