\nFormer prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday took a dig at the federal government for blacking out his speeches.
\nThe former PM took to the Twitter to vent his anger over black out and wrote, \u201cImported government is so fearful of the nation rising in support of my message of Haqiqi Azadi that they are imposing complete blackout of my speeches not only from mainstream media but also by blocking YouTube.\u201d He said that the digital censorship hurts entire IT sector and damages Pak s image globally. Imran Khan also wrote, \u201cInterested only in saving its looted wealth through NRO2, this fascist govt of cabal of crooks & their backers are willing to harm the interests of Pakistan simply out of fear of PTI s soaring popularity, adding that this is utterly callous & unacceptable.
\nViolation of section 144: Court extends interim bail of Imran Khan till Sep 27
\nLocal court of Islamabad has extended till September 27 interim bail of PTI chairman Imran Khan in the case pertaining to violation of section 144. The court also accepted the exemption plea of chairman PTI Imran Khan, Asad Umar, Asad Qaisar and Faisal Vawda from attendance.
\nThe case came up for hearing before local court led by Additional District and Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal here Wednesday.
\nAt the inception of hearing of the case Babar Awan counsel for PTI requested the court that Imran Khan will not appear in the court today. His plea for exemption from attendance in the court be accepted.
\nBabar Awan told the court Imran Khan is contesting election from 9 constituencies.
\nThe learned judge inquired from Babar Awan elections are going to be held when.
\nHe replied election are going to take place on September 25.
\nHe told the court it is 21st case against Imran Khan in which we are seeking bail.
\nSardar Masroof Khan counsel for Faisal Vawda while filing application for exemption from attendance said Faisal Vawda has gone to Saudi Arabia for performance of Umra. Therefore, his plea for exemption from attendance be accepted.
\nThe exemption plea from attendance in respect of PTI leader Asad Qaisar was also filed.
\nThe judge inquired where are Shahr Yar Afridi, Raja Khurram Ali Nawaz and Faisal Javed.
\nSardar Masroof Khan counsel for PTI replied there is case pertaining to Faisal Javed in another court. He is on the way and is coming to the court.
