\nDefence minister Khawaja Asif has said decision on appointment of army chief will not be made under any one\u2019s pressure.
\nIn an interview with US broadcasting corporation he said no concession will be given to Imran Khan in regard to his controversial statement with reference to appointment of army chief. Complete investigation will be made before launching legal proceedings on his controversial statement.
\nHe held making the appointment of army chief controversial is not in the national interest in any way. On the other he considers it enmity.
\nHe remarked consultations are made on key issues in ruling coalition, he indicated. The names to be received from army will be put up before the allied parties leaders.
\nSaying any thing about Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa extension in service is premature and unnecessary, he underlined.
