A new system was developed to get the election results. The Result Management System has been developed by the Election Commission\u2019s IT Wing.<br \/>\nAccording to the ECP sources, the Election Commission has decided to conduct a third party audit on the use of the Result Management System in the general elections. RMS will be developed separately from the certified firm after third party audit. A successful trial of the new result management system has also been conducted.<br \/>\nThe purpose of preparing an RMS from a certified firm is to keep a backup of the system. The new RMS will have polling station wise collection of results, party position turnout among other options. The new RMS will also facilitate progressive results including party position by vote.<br \/>\nWork is in progress to release the results on the website through the new RMS.
