Islamabad Police Saturday sent yet another notice to former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan in which he was asked to appear before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) at Margallah police station at 5:00 PM today for questioning in connection with his remarks against a lady magistrate at the party\u2019s rally in Islamabad.<br \/>\nPTI chairman was reminded in the notice that he had failed to show up<br \/>\nyesterday despite summons. \u201cYou are on bail until September 12; so you<br \/>\nbetter appear before the JIT today for questioning,\u201d read the notice.<\/p>\n<p>Imran\u2019s Chief Security Officer Raja Tahir received the notice.<\/p>\n<p>In his reply submitted to the JIT yesterday, PTI chairman said that he<br \/>\nhad remained the country\u2019s prime minister, and through his speech he did<br \/>\nnot mean to cause the magistrate any harm. \u201cPolice had tortured party<br \/>\nleader Shahbaz Gill during detention because of his political<br \/>\naffiliation,\u201d he said, adding, \u201cEven the report submitted to the<br \/>\nIslamabad High Court had confirmed torture on him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTherefore, the terrorism case was registered against me with a mala<br \/>\nfide intent,\u201d he said, and requested the JIT to give him a clean chit in<br \/>\nthe case.
