{"id":2830,"date":"2016-09-05T06:16:00","date_gmt":"2016-09-04T20:16:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=2830"},"modified":"2016-09-05T06:16:00","modified_gmt":"2016-09-04T20:16:00","slug":"mqm-founder-betried-for-his-anti-pakistan-speech-kasuri","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/mqm-founder-betried-for-his-anti-pakistan-speech-kasuri\/","title":{"rendered":"MQM founder betried for his anti-Pakistan speech: Kasuri"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI (INP): Veteran lawyer and Vice President of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Ahmed Raza Kasuri has said that anti-Pakistan remarks of Mutahida Quami Movement (MQM) founder and provoking workers to attack the TV offices were tantamount to treason.<br \/>\nHe was talking to media persons during his visit to office of a private TV channel on Saturday to express solidarity on behalf of former president Pervez Musharraf over the attack by MQM workers on August 22.<br \/>\nKasuri demanded that the MQM founder Altaf Hussain be tried under Article 6 of the Constitution of Pakistan. He said that that it was the responsibility of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to initiate the proceedings against him.<br \/>\nHe said that Urdu-speaking Muhajir community, was two separate entities and he has deep respect and consideration for the Muhajir community.<br \/>\nAhmed Raza Kasuri said those in the MQM who were not involved in subversive activities should be given a safe passage and be given an opportunity to defend themselves and be a part of the society.<br \/>\nHe expressed disappointment over the hesitance of the Premier in initiating proceedings over those raising anti-Pakistan remarks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI (INP): Veteran lawyer and Vice President of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Ahmed Raza Kasuri has said that anti-Pakistan remarks of Mutahida Quami Movement (MQM) founder and provoking workers to attack the TV offices were tantamount to treason.
