The summary seeking increase in the prices of different medicines was presented in the meeting for consideration.<br \/>\nThe PM rejected the summary saying permission for scaling up the prices of medicines can not be accorded in the prevailing situation. Further increase in the prices of medicines is not acceptable in any way.<br \/>\nIt is pertinent to mention here that Drug Regulatory Authority has sent summary for enhancement in the prices of over 40 medicines to the ministry of health.<br \/>\nThe summary was submitted by ministry of health before the cabinet during the meeting.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD Federal cabinet has rejected the summary on increase in the prices of medicines.
