It is pertinent to mention that, on September 18, the ECP had served another notice to former prime minister Imran Khan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Mahmood Khan for violating the code of conduct before by-polls in Charsadda. Despite the summons, Imran Khan did not appear, Mahmood Khan\u2019s lawyer appeared before the Election Commission and asked the Commission for time to appear, after which the Election Commission summoned them again on September 23. The commission had summoned Imran in connection of the Charsadda public meeting today.
