We are giving much more money to the verdict of the Supreme Court through which the elections have been stopped,&#8221; he opined.<\/p>\n<p>Fawad Chaudhry said Pakistan has suffered $5 billion due to regime change. Taking to Twitter, the former federal minister said that the Supreme Court of Pakistan has no idea that regime change operation has so far caused $5 billion loss to Pakistan in terms of currency alone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRather than the expenditure on general elections, we are paying a much higher price for the decision of the Supreme Court which stopped the polls,\u201d he added. Earlier in the day, the Supreme Court of Pakistan advised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to reconsider its decision to resign from the National Assembly.<\/p>\n<p>A two-member bench of SC comprising CJP Justice Umar Ata Bandial and Justice Ayesha Malik heard the PTI\u2019s petition regarding the acceptance of its resignations from NA in one go.
