PESHAWAR
\nChairman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah has stressed the need of bringing reforms for establishment of real democracy and a fresh election to get rid the people from present outdated system, impractical government and politics.
\nHe made these remarks during a joint meeting of the party here on Sunday.
\nShah noted that currently the government stands far away from people in Sindh, Balochistan, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
\nHe furthermore observed people are yearning for help, justice and authority whereas politics has drowned in water of personal publicity and benefits of national and public wealth.
\nFaiq noticed the prime minister and his 72-member team is about to compete on tour from the U.S and the opposition is taking swings from helicopters.
\nPeople have been made spectacle and plunged them into a host of issues, wherein price-hike has touched a new heights, he added.
\nNow, he noted bread and pulses are inaccessible for a common man.
\nThe ATP chairman said employment and income had to be enhanced to reduce impacts of inflation but hence jobs, business and income have been snatched.
\nHe added the industrial process has been halted while agriculture and trade are trapped under storms and unjust taxes.
\nFarmers, traders and ordinary citizens took to streets against the government, but no one was available to alleviate their miseries, Shah lamented.
\nThe party leader demanded comprehensive reforms without any further delay in order to deliver the system itself.
\nHe asked that the elections should be conducted after completing the reforms process to become a source of real democracy.
\nFaiq viewed if today local governments were installed so justice would be delivered to flood victims.
\nHowever, he noted neither aid was provided to flood-hit people nor relief on an equitable basis, which has created severe unrest among people.
\nThe ATP chairman demanded the immediate constitution a joint board that would be comprised on NDMA and other relevant institutions to provide accelerate relief activities and rehabilitation flood affected people, which should treat the public on a daily basis
\nHe added the proposed board that would be formed under their local representation, can pinpoint the problems of locals and give their solutions.
\nShah said ATP is highlighting these problems from the Union Council to the Centre. He vowed the struggle would be sustained till provision of justice and public authority.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
