\nFederal government while announcing to stop PTI Long March entrance to Islamabad, has approved the action against all those organizations helping the march in form of logistics and economic means.
\nDecision has been made to take services of Islamabad police, Sindh Police, Rangers and FC (Frontier Corp) to keep capital Islamabad peaceful.
\nThe federal government has approved action against the individuals and organizations providing logistical and financial support to the long march by announcing that PTI\u2019s potential long march will not be allowed to enter Islamabad under any circumstances. The security of government buildings and diplomatic enclaves located in the red zone will be handed over to the Pakistan Army.
\nAccording to the details, an important meeting was held in the Ministry of Interior under the chairmanship of Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan to finalize the strategy regarding the possible long march of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
\nThe strategy to prevent PTI\u2019s possible long march and sit-in was finalized and instructions were issued to the participants.
\nAccording to sources, on the instructions of Interior Minister Rana Sanaiullah, the proceedings of the meeting were kept in-camera.
\nThe security agencies briefed the Minister regarding the possible long march of PTI, the number of PTI long March participants likely to be between 15,000 and 20,000.
\nAccording to the sources, it has been decided to take the services of Islamabad Police, Sindh Police, Rangers and FC to ensure peace and order during the long march.
\nIt was decided to arrange 30,000 personnel of Sindh Police, FC and Rangers including Islamabad Police for peace and security and to hand over the security of government buildings and diplomatic enclaves in the red zone to Pakistan Army during the possible long march.
\nIn the event of a possible PTI march, the Pakistan Army will be deployed in the capital Islamabad under Article 245 of the Constitution of Pakistan. It has been decided not to allow PTI\u2019s long march to enter the capital Islamabad under any circumstances.
\nIn the meeting, action was approved against the individuals and organizations providing logistical and financial support to the Long March.
\nIt has been decided to impose a complete ban on carrying firearms in Islamabad as well as complete identification of federal employees who marched with PTI procession on the federation and provided support and to take action under Estacode.
\nAccording to the sources, instructions have been issued regarding the movement and transportation of the citizens of Islamabad and keeping the hospitals and schools functional during the long march.
\nThe meeting was attended by Interior Secretary Yusuf Naseem Khokhar, Commandant FC Salahuddin Mehsud, IG Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir, Commander Rangers Islamabad, Chief Commissioner Islamabad Usman Yunus, DIG Operations Sohail Zafar Chatha, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Irfan Memon and representatives of security agencies and other law enforcement agencies also participated.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
