\nAnother alleged leaked audio of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan surfaced on social media on Friday in which the former premier can be heard talking about the cypher with party leaders Asad Umar and Shireen Mazari.
\nIn the 1:03-minute audio leaked by an unnamed hacker Asad can be heard saying that the letter (cypher) issue should have been raised a week or 10 days earlier. To which Imran Khan replies that the impact of the letter has been felt across the world.
\n\u201cWhat we have done has created an impact, now the strategy is to brand and spoon feed public on Mir Jafar and Mir Sadiq. Their (public) minds are already fertile to accept this. We have to brand them (traitors) for life,\u201d Imran can be heard saying.
\nShireen says that China has issued an official statement condemning US interference in our internal affairs.
\nImran Khan responds by saying that the entire world was now talking about it as they had thought. Shireen tells Imran that the Chinese officials have also condemned the cypher.
\nIt should be noted that two audios related to cypher have come to the fore before the leak.
\nEarlier in the day, an audio surfaced purportedly featuring Imran Khan talking about \u201cbuying\u201d MNAs. In the audio, a voice attributed to the former prime minister can be heard and he is apparently talking about \u2018horse-trading\u2019.
\nThe audio starts with Imran purportedly stating \u201cdon\u2019t think everything is over\u201d, a possible reference to the vote of no confidence in March this year.
\n\u201cFrom this point onwards, the next 48 hours is a long long time. Plenty of things are happening and I am also making some moves which we can\u2019t disclose to the public,\u201d says the voice attributed to the PTI chief.
\n\u201cI am buying five [MNAs], I have five [MNAs],\u201d the voice believed to be of Imran\u2019s states.
\n\u201cNobody should worry and think if this is right or wrong, whatever tactic it is. Breaking even a single will make a big difference,\u201d the voice attributed to the PTI chief instructs party members.
\nLast week, a leaked audio recording of PTI leaders was released purportedly featuring party leaders Asad Umar and Shah Mahmood Qureshi discussing the much-touted \u201cthreat cypher\u201d with Imran Khan and ex-principal secretary ratcheting up the controversy around the steady drip of damning leaks allegedly offering a glimpse of the inside story.
\nThe 1.09-minute-long audio emerged on social media and featured a conversation purportedly between Imran Khan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Asad Umar and Azam about a strategy to set the stage for a narrative around the Cablegate affair.
\nIn May this year, the former prime minister had urged the Supreme Court to take action against \u2018horse-trading\u2019.
\n\u201cWhat example are we setting for our coming generation that public representatives were sold like goats and sheeps,\u201d Imran said in an interview with a private TV channel.
