\nFinance Minister Ishaq Dar has said we should not worry about moody\u2019s rating.
\n\u201cI will give reply to every ground on which moody\u2019s has made rating. There are three such rating agencies. One downgraded UK. This rating is for issuing sukuk bonds. We are not going towards it still. We have to improve economic indicators yet., he said this while talking to media men here Friday.
\nHe reiterated his government\u2019s commitment to strengthen country\u2019s economy by taking all possible measures. He added no one will be allowed to control rupee\u2019s value artificially.
\nThe Minister said by every passing day rupee\u2019s value is improving, however, he regretted that the previous government devalued Pakistan\u2019s currency artificially.
\nThe Minister urged all political parties not to do politics over economy. He said charter of economy is need of the hour and a consensus should be developed in this regard.
\nThe Minister said with improved rupee\u2019s value our foreign debt has decreased by 2600 billion rupees within few days.
\nThe Minister said the case of not filing tax returns against him is baseless and just aimed at taking political revenge.
\nEarlier, he appeared before the Accountability court in assets related case. The court rejected the warrants against Ishaq Dar and adjourned the hearing till Wednesday.
\nAbout persistent fall in the value of dollar he said I was just sitting in the plane and I had to do nothing and the dollar started going downward. I earlier said that this is not real value of dollar. Dollar real value is below Rs 200.
\nOur export industry is very important, he said adding they have to give dollars to Pakistan through earning. I have said now stop thinking in t dollar. Rupee will go up.
\nHe held restrictions were imposed on Pakistan after it became nuclear power in order to teach a lesson to it. It can not happen so now that some one plays game with Pakistan.
\nPakistan foreign debt has declined by Rs 2600 billion. If we work in correct way then our future is bright. PDM government had to work day in day out. We slashed the price of petroleum products.
