It was pleaded in the PTI petition to stop the FIA from making arrests and conducting raids in the prohibited funding case. The petition stated that the FIA inquiry and raids were illegal. It further said that the FIA was harassing the PTI on political basis.   It said that the agency raided the house of PTI Senator Saifullah Sarwar Khan Nyazee and harassed him. The party collected funds for the anti-government movement after the regime change, the petition said adding that all the funds received from abroad were collected according to the law. The petition has made the interior secretary, FIA DG and investigation officer respondents in the case.
