ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) \u2018estranged\u2019 member of the National Assembly (MNA) Ahmed Hussain Deharr on Saturday claimed that the act of distancing of some of the party members from former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan on the issue of US cypher showed that the party\u2019s dissidents were the \u2018real\u2019 PTI. Talking to a private television channel, he said the reason for his differences with the former prime minister was that the latter\u2019s narrative on the cypher was \u2018false\u2019. \u201cThose who played with the country have now been exposed,\u201d he claimed. He went on to say that he had no regrets that he parted his ways with Imran prior to voting on the no-confidence motion against the PTI government in April 2022. \u201cToday the nation should pat on our back that we dissociated ourselves from those who played with the country\u2019s security,\u201d Deharr boasted.
