ISLAMABAD :The 27th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP-27) has announced to give its Vice Presidency to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
\nPakistan has got this global distinction out of the 195 members of the United Nations.
\nThe Presidency of the COP-27 is with Egypt.
\nEgyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has also invited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to jointly chair COP-27 meeting.
\nPrime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Norway and the Egyptian President will jointly chair the roundtable conference.
\nThe COP-27 meeting is beginning in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt from the 6th of next month which will be attended by world leaders, heads of governments and representatives of think tanks and international financial institutions.
\nShehbaz Sharif has been entrusted the Vice Presidency for being an effective voice on climate change.
