\nNew Zealand on Tuesday thrashed Pakistan by 9 wickets in fourth Twenty20 International of the Tri Series at Hagley Oval.
\nAfter losing to Pakistan on Saturday, New Zealand returned stronger Tuesday and an all around performance by the Blackcaps lead them to a mighty win over tourists Pakistan.
\nNew Zealand\u2019s bowlers restricted Pakistan to 130 for seven as Tim Southee took two wickets in two balls at the end of the innings. The hosts then chased down the total in 16.1 overs on the loss of one wicket only.
\nIn reply, New Zealand were off to a flying start, courtesy of Finn Allen. The youngster hit his second T20I fifty, scoring 62 runs off 42 balls.
\n\u201cAn improvement again from the last game, nice to adjust to the conditions, clinical with the ball and we used the big side and the wind as well,\u201d said the Kiwis\u2019 captain Kane Williamson at the post match presentation.
