\nPolice on Thursday claimed to have arrested five terrorists involved in JumaKhan Police Station attack which was foiled by the police.
\nAccordingto SSP Operations Peshawar Kashif Aftab Abbasi, as per details, police afterthe attacking on the above-mentioned police station followed terrorists andbusted their hideout.
\n\u201cTerrorists hideout was busted by police,leading to the recovery of 25 hand-grenades, a Kalashnikov, pistols and ammunition,\u201dhe added.Sharingdetails, Kashif Abbasi added that a number of Wireless Walkie Talkie seats andpolice uniforms have also been seized during the police operation.
\nThearrested terrorists have been identified as Nadeem, Kareem, Sawab and SyedanShah. Duringthe preliminary investigation, SSP Operation maintained, important revelationsare expected.Policesaid that the arrested terrorists were involved in different attacks onsecurity forces in the provincial capital, adding that they were also planningto carry out further attacks on police teams.
\nHesaid that a former employee of the security forces was also a member of theterrorists. MrAbbasi claimed that a specialized team has been to carry-out investigation fromthe arrested terrorists, adding that important revelations are expected.
\nIn a separate incident, at least four personswere killed in a fierce armed clash between two groups in Peshawar\u2019s Tranabform area of Chamkani on Thursday.
\nAccordingto details shared with reporters by Rescue-1122, two groups resorted to heavyfiring at each other in the above-mentioned area of Peshawar, leaving fourpersons dead.
\nTheslain persons were identified as Gulab Sheer, Jehangir Khan, Qaiser Khan and Sheeraz,residents of Urmar-Payan area of Peshawar.Asper details, the slain persons were going home after obtaining their bails froma local court.
