\nSindh Minister and Archives and PPP leader Sharjeel Inam Memon on Saturday questioned that now when the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had given its verdict in the reference filed against PTI Chairman Imran Khan, when will justice be done in the case of former prime minister and PPP\u2019s founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto\u2019s (ZAB) judicial murder?.
\nAddressing a press conference at Sindh Archives in Karachi, he said that yesterday a \u2018big hypocrite\u2019 (Imran Khan) had been disqualified. \u201cEarlier, Imran had proven himself to be an incompetent premier. But yesterday the ECP declared he was also involved in corrupt practices,\u201d he added.
\nMemon wondered as to how the PTI chairman could object to the integrity of the chief election commissioner when he himself had appointed and called him an honest man.
\nAlleging that Imran had purchased expensive gifts at cheaper rates, the provincial minister said now the former prime minister would face a trial in the court. \u201cHe did not show the exact amount in his statement with which he bought these gifts,\u201d he said.
\nPPP leader did not stop there, and went on to say that not more than 200 to 300 people participated in each protest by the party.
\nMemon demanded that the PTI workers setting properties on fire during yesterday\u2019s protests should be taken to the task. \u201cPTI leaders jumped over the ECP office\u2019s gate yesterday,\u201d he said.
\nSindh minister asked as to how there could be two sets of laws for different segments of the society. \u201cWhen the election commission has already declared several politicians disqualified, what\u2019s wrong with declaring Imran ineligible for any public office,\u201d he questioned.
\nCalling Imran \u2018pampered\u2019 and a blue-eyed boy of the establishment, he made it clear that no special treatment of the PTI chairman would now be tolerated.
\nTerming the removal of Pakistan\u2019s name from the FATF\u2019s grey list a \u2018feat\u2019, Memon claimed that the credit for that went to Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
